When it comes to planning a wedding, there is more to it than just drawing a picture of a church with a crowd full of people. No, it is not that simple because being a wedding planner means that you have to possess a certain amount of skill. There are many factors involved in wedding planning that all play a huge role in determining the outcome of your wedding. You can definitely do it yourself and not have to spend part of your budget on hiring a professional wedding planner to do the job. All you need to do is to develop these skills for yourself and ask some help from those closest to you.

One of the most important skills that you need i order to be a good planner is thriftiness. You are given a limited budget that you will be spending for your wedding. So you should know how to spend your money wisely without going to the extreme. For example, the date of your wedding should be placed sometime during the months of January, February, march, and November. These months will make sure that you get to save more money because these are the off season months. So everything should cost less during these months compared to the peak season.

You should also think about the venue and the number of guests that you plan to invite to your wedding. If you are going to have about 150 people coming to your wedding then try to look for a medium sized church so that it can accommodate them. The same should also apply to your chosen reception venue, and do not forget about the budget for your food.

Lat, but not the least, be a practical thinker when you plan your wedding and never allow yourself to be stressed out too much. Once you experience the wedding of your dreams through careful planning, all marriage questions you may once have had will all be answered.
