It is an opportunity to be able to have encounters with wildlife and appreciate nature as it is, while engaging in an array of other activities that also is wildlife and nature related. Many people who wish to experience this opportunity, head out to Idaho to visit the Yellowstone National Park where people can find everything that nature and wildlife has to offer. The highlight at Yellowstone Park is the yellowstone animals that are sheltered there, fed and cared for by the park staff. Ideally, the park also features a petting zoo, amusement park and a museum for their visitors as extra activities.

The Park shelters, bobcats, bison, bears, elk, moose, coyotes, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, mountain lions, gray wolves, mule deer, white tailed deer and Canada lynx, while caring for them everyday. Campers find solace in the park grounds, but they are frequently told off by the park management not to feed the animals that freely roam the grounds. The bears in particular have a habit of begging for food and people who want to have a chance of taking a picture beside a bear, tend to offer them food just to get close to them. Years back, visitors were allowed to feed the animals, but as attacks from bears have been reported, it has been taken into pre caution that feeding them be stopped. Even trash collections have been relocated to prevent bears from getting too close to campsites. Fortunately, the imposing of the change in policy has resulted to lesser reported injuries. Once the appreciation of nature and wildlife has been done, campers can also take a chance in private elk hunts at a nearby ranch.

The yellowstone animals are an experience but engaging in private elk hunts, makes the experience all the more memorable. Why miss out on such an opportunity? Grab your friends or family and have an experience of a lifetime.
